Gabrielle Dietrich, BM, Music Education, Voice ('02). In 2005, Gabrielle earned her MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She had a great time in Colorado, and is currently working as a Director of Music for two churches, and as a private voice instructor, piano teacher, and a tutor for sightsinging and aural skills. Erin Finkelstein, BM, Clarinet (02'). After studies in New York (2004-05), Erin was awarded a MM from Arizona State University. In 2007, she became a Feldenkrais(r)Practitioner specializing in working with people in the arts. Erin performs frequently as a chamber and freelance musician in northern California and currently teaches clarinet at California State University-Stanislaus as well as maintaining private studios in Sacramento and Davis, California. Arianna (Giaroli) Guthrie, BM, Vocal Performance ('92), MM, Kodaly ('02). My husband Chris and our two sons, Julian and Aidan live in Woodinville, Washington (Seattle's Eastside). I perform regularly with Seattle Pro Musica and work as the Director of Choirs at Redmond High School in Redmond, Washington. Jennifer (Monk) Youngs, BM, Vocal Performance ('02). Jennifer was recently selected as a finalist at the Kansas City district Metropolitain Opera Council auditions. She was also nominated to audition for the Richard Tucker Foundation Career Grants in New York City.
Irene Roberts, BM, Vocal Performance, Mezzo Soprano ('06). After graduating from Pacific, Ms. Roberts attended the Cleveland Institute of Music receiving a MM in Vocal Performance ('08). Last fall she made her professional debut singing Suzuki with Opera Western Reserve and was then invited to be a resident artist with Palm Beach Opera during the 08/09 season. Ms. Roberts sang comprimario roles, covered principles and participated in numerous concerts. She has been invited back as a resident artist this coming season. This past summer Ms. Roberts participated in the inaugural season of the Castleton Festival led by Maestro Lorin Maazel.
