Concert Schedule
In the interest of health and safety, the Conservatory of Music is postponing operations of the Pacific Youth Symphony through the end of the fall 2020 semester.
Concert Dress Code
Students can choose either outfit listed below (non-gender specific).
SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
- Black Dress: Students must wear long black dress, black shoes and black hose. All dresses will be uniform for concert wear; you MUST wear the dress purchased through Stage Accents. Pacific Youth Symphony recommends you order by September 4 in order to allow time for processing. When your dress arrives you will need to have it hemmed before the first concert at your own expense.
- Black Tuxedo: Students MUST wear a black tuxedo with white shirt and black bow tie, black shoes with black socks. Tuxedo may be purchased through Stage Accents or elsewhere.
PREPARATORY ORCHESTRA
- Black Dress: Students must wear long black dress, black shoes and black hose. All dresses will be uniform for concert wear; you MUST wear the dress purchased through Stage Accents. Pacific Youth Symphony recommends you order by September 4 in order to allow time for processing. When your dress arrives you will need to have it hemmed before the first concert at your own expense.
- Black Pants/White Tuxedo Shirt: Students MUST wear plain blacklong pants with black shoes and black socks, and a long sleeved white tuxedo shirt with black bow tie and black cummerbund. Shirt, bow tie, and cummerbund may be purchased through Stage Accents or elsewhere.
Students not dressed in accordance with our Concert Dress Code will not be allowed to perform.
