Changes to undergraduate student employee background checks policy

Pacific strives to offer a safe educational environment for all students, faculty and staff in support of its educational mission. As part of the hiring process for undergraduate students, Human Resources has historically required a completed criminal background check (CBC) as part of authorizing an undergraduate student to work on campus.

As of March 13, 2018, undergraduate students working in standard administrative or clerical roles at Pacific are no longer required to complete a CBC unless they are working in an environment with minors or off campus. For more details, please review the updated policy and procedures.
