Dameron Primary Care and Linacia Pharmacy Changes Effective May 1

Effective May 1, 2018, Dameron Primary Care and Linacia Pharmacy will no longer provide their services to University of the Pacific at discounted rates and $0 copay. Dameron Primary Care is still an Anthem Prudent Buyer PPO contracted provider and Linacia is a contracted pharmacy through WellDyne, so they are still accessible; however, they are terminating the discount programs on April 30, 2018. 

Linacia had been obtaining prescriptions through a federally subsidized program for hospitals that serve a disproportionately large number of low-income patients. Since they were able to obtain the drugs at a low cost, covered prescriptions were offered to Pacificans at no cost if written by a Dameron Primary Care doctor. You can still obtain your prescriptions at Linacia if a Dameron Primary Care physician writes it; however, the standard prescription copays under our plans will be charged.

You still have the convenience of utilizing PlushCare or LiveHealth Online® as well as any Anthem network provider.
