David VoskuilDave Voskuil appointed interim vice president for enrollment management 
President Pamela A. Eibeck has appointed Dave Voskuil as interim vice president for enrollment management, effective January 2, 2018. Voskuil will provide continued leadership for the Office of Enrollment Management following J. Michael Thompson's resignation.  Most recently, Voskuil served as the vice president of enrollment management at Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia, where he increased undergraduate enrollment to its highest level in more than a decade. Previously, he was vice president of enrollment services at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, which experienced three successive years of enrollment growth under his leadership. Voskuil has more than 40 years of experience in college/university administration, primarily within the four-year, private liberal arts college and university setting. Read full announcement>>

DeeLynn RiviniusDeeLynn Rivinius, program director for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), is departing her position effective January 2. After serving OLLI through work on special projects, Rivinius assumed the role of program director in March 2016 and has helped expand the presence of OLLI@Pacific through increased membership and innovative programs and partnerships. OLLI is a nonprofit education program designed for people age 50+ and open to all adult learners. Each year OLLI provides intellectually stimulating noncredit classes, interest groups, local and international trips, and special events for its members. Program Assistant Jennifer Juanitas will be serving as the point of contact for OLLI until a permanent program director is hired. Elena Duenas is a new graduate services specialist in the Graduate School.

Ernesto Espinoza is a new admission counselor in the Office of Admission.

Sherman Garland is a new recovery coach-PWLC in the College of the Pacific Department of Psychology.

Adnan Hashtam is a new administrative assistant for Theatre Arts and Media X in the College of the Pacific Department of Theatre Arts.

Cathie McClellan

Cathie McClellan, professor of Theatre Arts, will serve as the interim director for General Education beginning in Spring 2018 and continuing through the the 2018-19 academic year, under the direction of Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Edie Sparks. McClellan has served the past two years as the assistant director of General Education for Assessment, working with outgoing Director of General Education, Associate Dean Gesine Gerhard.

Jessica Siena is the new head of Conservatory admission in the Conservatory of Music.

Shanel Ong is a new laboratory assistant in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Jovany Ornelas is a new sterilization and dispatch technician in Central Sterilization in the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Jessica Spencer is a new program services assistant for Physician Assistant Studies on the Sacramento Campus.   

Development and Alumni Relations

Natalie LoschkeNatalie Loschke was promoted to Assistant Dean for Development for the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education. Loschke was hired in January 2012 as the manager of Pacific Fund operations and then transitioned into a role as associate director of development and alumni relations communications. In April 2016, she was appointed associate director of major gifts for the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education. The promotion reflects her broader responsibilities for campaign planning and leadership in comprehensive development strategy on behalf of the Benerd School. 

Student Life

Michelle Arcos is a new employer satisfaction and event coordinator in the Career Resource Center.

Michael Krieger was promoted to director of housing operations and technology in Housing and Greek Life.

Angie Tan has transferred to the position of upward bound program advisor in Educational Equity Programs (EEP).

Colleen Smith was promoted to Assistant Director of the PRIDE Center in Intercultural Student Success.

Business and Finance

Carlos Morales is a new Mail Assistant in Pacific Mail Services.

Sotea Nov is a new Painter, Group I, in Support Services.  

Bellan Yann is a new Mail Clerk in Pacific Mail Services.   


Julema Perez is a new Coordinator for Student-Athlete Services in Athletics.
