United Way Campaign Runs Through Nov 28
The 2018 three-campus United Way campaign at University of the Pacific has entered its final days.
We thank the 156 people from the Pacific family who have pledged a total of $45,746 so far in this campaign, which runs through November 28.
This is well short of our goals of 500 participants and $125,000 in pledges. We hope you will consider making a gift during the final week of the campaign.
How to give
Donations can be made via your cell phone or computer. For details on how to contribute via mobile or online, simply visit the online giving site or text "tigers" to the number 40403 to make your donation. Also, for those who prefer it, paper forms also are available through your department's or unit's United Way Ambassador or Campus Director.
Remember that pledges can be spread throughout the year via payroll deduction. This option gives you a simple way to budget your charitable giving over the year rather than having to come up with a lump sum at one time. And you can designate the deduction to any 501(c)(3) organization of your choice in any amount that fits your budget.
Final Prize Drawing Winner
All who have pledged are entered in weekly drawings for gifts. The final prize drawing winner is:
Jessica Bilecki of the Business and Finance division, who won an "A" parking pass for the 2018-19 academic year on the Stockton Campus.
Find more information on the Pacific United Way Campaign SharePoint site (Pacific login required). The campaign will continue through Nov. 28. United Way is an important part of our community outreach efforts for all three campuses. Please consider making a pledge for the 2018 Campaign. Remember you can designate your contribution to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of your choice.
