National Survey Instruments and Reports
One this page you will find several national surveys that Pacific participates in regularly. These surveys give insight to student experiences, learning, and engagment. Because several insitutions participate in these surveys, they also provide useful comparisons to peers.
Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Surveys:
CIRP Freshmen Survey - "The survey covers a wide range of student characteristics: parental income and education, ethnicity, and other demographic items; financial aid; secondary school achievement and activities; educational and career plans; and values, attitudes, beliefs, and self-concept." Your First College Year (YFCY) - "YFCY collects information on a wide range of cognitive and affective measures, providing comprehensive institutional and comparative data for analyses of persistence, adjustment, and other first-year outcomes." (Higher Education Research Institute, 2015)

College Senior Survey (CSS) - "The College Senior Survey (CSS) connects academic, civic, and diversity outcomes with a comprehensive set of college experiences to measure the impact of college." (Higher Education Research Institute, 2015)

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE): "NSSE annually collects information at hundreds of four-year colleges and universities about first-year and senior students' participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development. The results provide an estimate of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college." (National Survey of Student Engagement, 2015)

Admitted Student Questionnaire (ASQ): This survey of admitted students is designed to uncover what our admits think about academic programs, recruitment strategies, financial aid packages, facilities, cost of attendance, as well as Pacific's academic image and reputation.
