PHI DELTA KAPPA
Phi Delta Kappa's International Mission is to grow and connect leaders in education. Our International family connects members in vibrant learning communities; shares research, innovations, best practices; and empowers members to advocate for their students and their profession. The mission of the University of the Pacific's PDK chapter is to provide students with scholarships, opportunities for networking, and a forum to recognize those that make a difference in our local educational community
The Phi Delta Kappa Endowed Scholarship The Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity, Inc. established this scholarship to promote quality education with a particular emphasis on publicly supported education that they feel is essential to the development and maintenance of a democratic way of life. Achievement of these goals required the acceptance and implementation of quality leadership through research, teaching and professional services. Each year the scholarship provides assistance to credential candidates or graduate students with a 3.5 GPA or better in the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education.
