Stockton Campus advisory: Concert preparation May 3 on the DeRosa Center lawn

Sound checks and sound system testing will involve amplified sound on and off throughout the day.
May 1, 2017

On Wednesday, May 3, ASuop will be hosting their annual year-end celebration, Tiger Lands. Every year, students ask to bring the Spring Concert onto campus. This year, this will happen on the DeRosa Center Lawn.

ASuop advises that there will be amplified sound throughout the day as part of the set-up process. The show will run 5 - 10 p.m., however, techs will be testing audio and performing artists will be doing sound checks for much of the afternoon.

Efforts will be made to minimize impact during business hours, but due to the scheduling, it will not be possible to avoid it completely. Impact will be greater to those buildings, offices, and classrooms in close proximity to the DeRosa Center Lawn.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to one of the following contacts in the Office of Student Involvement: Dave Crafts at or 209.946.2106, or Jennifer Low at or 209.946.2235.

ASuop appreciates your cooperation and patience.
