Womxn's Empowerment Conference postponed; Women of Distinction Awards luncheon moves to March 31
The Womxn's Empowerment Conference originally scheduled for March 25 has been postponed until next spring.
The 16th Annual Women of Distinction Awards has been moved to Friday, March 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Grace Covell Hall. The keynote speaker for this event will be Anna Nti-Asare, writer, educator and fiancée of Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs.
The award nomination deadline has been extended to Sunday, March 5. Please consider nominating a woman you know who has worked to uplift and empower others, promote gender and racial equity, and/or inspire future generations of leaders. The six categories for nominations are: Undergraduate Student; Graduate Student; Sorority Woman; Staff Member; Faculty Member; and Community Member (Stockton/San Joaquin). To nominate someone as a Woman of Distinction, use this nomination form.
