About This Program

Pacific's Master of Science in Cybersecurity consisted of 30 course units in a 1-year, full-time program or 2-year, part-time program. As part of the program, students learned a variety of in-demand skills, including:

  • Detecting and preventing network attacks
  • Network reconnaissance, intrusion, and data exfiltration from a defensive and offensive standpoint
  • Reverse engineering malware to understand its design, operation, and communications protocols
  • Identifying and preventing vulnerabilities in software applications
  • The role of cryptography in secure software development
  • Cybersecurity law and policy 

By the end of the program students are prepared to enter careers as cybersecurity professionals.
