Work continues on Pacific 2025, the refresh of Pacific 2020, the university's strategic plan. Following their December 5 campus conversation on the Strategic Priorities (links to video; PacificNet login required), the Strategic Planning Teams (SPTs) have used feedback from the university community to narrow the focus from five strategic priorities to three: 

  • Creating an Environment for Students to Thrive
  • A Leading Educator in Health Care: A Recognized Integrated School of Health
  • Provide an Exceptional Undergraduate 21st Century Learning Experience 

The remaining two priorities: Growth and Financial Stability, and People, Culture and Infrastructure, describe ongoing work that is central to our mission and supports Pacific 2025.

President Eibeck and Provost Pallavicini will present a Pacific 2025 progress report for discussion with the Board of Regents at its February meeting next week in San Francisco. Following the meeting, the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) will use the Board's recommendations for prioritization of the three remaining strategic priorities to develop an implementation plan for approval by the Board at its May meeting.
