Sound Testing in the Library

Jan 17, 2017

An Acoustic Engineering firm will be conducting sound testing in the library on Tuesday, 1/17 from 11 am - 1 pm.

The plan is to only make background noise measurements, which do not require making loud noises. It is possible that they could make some sound isolation tests. If this is the case, they would be playing loud bursts of noise (approximately 100 dB) for about 30 seconds to 1 minute for each area tested. This chart below will help you get an idea of how loud it could get.
