This year during winter break, the library is piloting unmediated Get It Now services, which will allow faculty members to request full-text articles directly through Get It Now. The service is free to faculty members, and the library will cover the costs.  As fees are typically higher than regular interlibrary loan fees, we kindly ask that this service be used only when necessary. Get It Now will be available December 23rd through January 2nd.

What is Get It Now?

Get It Now is a document delivery service that our library uses to obtain some articles that are not available full-text online through our databases. Get It Now often delivers articles within 24 hours.

How do I request an article through Get It Now?

1. When you find an article that is not available full-text through the library's databases, click on the "Request this item through Get It Now" link.
2. Provide your Pacific email address, and read & accept the terms & conditions. 
3. The article will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

Note: Though Get It Now offers a wide range of journals, some publishers or years may not be included.  Most articles can still be obtained through our regular interlibrary loan services, arriving in a few days.  If the Get It Now form does not appear as mentioned in step #2 above, simply click the back button & click on the "We'll get it for you through Interlibrary Loan" link and the request will be processed when the library reopens on January 3rd.  Have a wonderful Winter Break!
