United Way campaign final totals and drawing winners announced

Dec 12, 2016

University of the Pacific's 2017 United Way campaign has come to a close. As a result of your efforts and the generosity of staff and faculty, University of the Pacific raised $102,916.67 a 9.75% increase over last year's total of $93,774.90.

We also had 304 faculty and staff members contribute, leading to a 24.94% participation rate. This represents an increase of 24.7% over last year. Of those, we had 56 Keel Club-level donations with 22 first-time Keel Club donors this year. Keel Club donors contribute $500 or more annually through United Way.

Congratulations to our final winners of the incentive drawings. Peggy Hawbaker, account technician in Enrollment Management, is the winner of the second early-bird drawing, winning a one-year membership to the Baun Fitness Center. Mary Lou Tyler, academic advisor in the School of International Studies, is the winner of a B parking permit for the 2017-18 academic year.

Once again, thank you so much for this strong statement of support from the University to our community.

Stacy McAfee, Associate Vice President for External Relations, Strategic Partnerships and Presidential Initiatives
Chair, 2017 United Way Campaign
