Have you signed up to receive the electronic W-2 form?
Tax time is approaching. The university will mail W-2s out by Jan. 31, 2017. However, you may choose to receive your W-2 electronically. The electronic W-2 reduces printing and mailing costs, and eliminates the possibility of the mailed item being lost, stolen or misdirected.
Employees must consent to receive their printable Form W-2 electronically. The consent form can be securely accessed in the Employee Self Service section of the InsidePacific website. (From the Employee menu, select Tax Information and then Electronic W-2 Consent)
Once employees have consented to receiving Forms W-2 electronically and the Payroll Department has sent notification they are available, employees can return to insidePacific to print their statement for inclusion with federal, state or local income tax returns.
Note: If you elected to receive your W-2 electronically last year, you do not need to do so again.
If you choose not to receive the electronic W-2 tax form, it will be mailed to the mailing address on file by January 31, 2017. If your mailing address has changed in the past year, please contact Human Resources or download the address change form and turn it in to Human Resources as soon as possible to ensure your address is updated before the W-2s are mailed.
