Background
Dr. Faverty became Pacific's inaugural Sacramento Campus Director on October 10, 2016. Faverty was the executive director and CEO of Lowell Consulting, an educational consulting firm that provides professional leadership training and assists with organizational change, planning and innovation, including serving as an approved District Assistance and Intervention Team (DAIT) provider for schools identified for Title I Program Improvement. His broad background in educational administration also includes serving as program director for the doctoral program in educational leadership at University of California, Santa Barbara, and as superintendent of the Rio School District in Oxnard, California.
Key Areas of Responsibility
In this newly established role, Faverty will lead and collaboratively develop a campus operational strategy that aligns with institutional initiatives and ensures a cohesive set of services to all Pacific students and faculty. He will report to Vice President for Business and Finance Ken Mullen and will have direct leadership over the Sacramento Campus business office, human resources, facilities and auxiliary services, with indirect leadership over other Sacramento administrative units in the academic, student life and technology divisions.
