Reaccreditation process overview:
-
Fall 2016: Pacific's Reaccreditation Steering Committee and Working Groups began the two-year process of reaccreditation by working on Pacific's self-study data collection—collecting information provided by academic and administrative units across the university and interviewing stakeholders.
-
2016-17 academic year: Steering committee chair Tamara Phelan, professor of physical therapy and assistant vice provost for educational effectiveness; Cyd Jenefsky, vice provost for strategy and educational effectiveness; and members of the Steering Committee visited with a wide range of campus stakeholder committees and forums to discuss the team's preliminary findings from Pacific's self-review study.
-
Fall 2017: The Steering Committee and Working Groups drafted and reviewed components of the institutional report.
-
Spring 2018: A draft of the report was available for universitywide review.
-
June 2018: The committee used this evidence to produce a 74-page institutional report that describes different aspects of the university and the four "hallmarks" of a Pacific education. (PacificNet login required)
-
August 2018: The WSCUC peer review team evaluated our institutional report and responded with a list of commendations and lines of inquiry (areas of focus for their site visits). (PacificNet login required)
-
Beginning January 2019: The WSCUC peer review team will visit our three campuses on the following dates to gather more information from students, faculty and staff:
