Pacific's Inaugural Day of Giving

At 11:15 am on November 15 through 11:16 am on November 16, University of the Pacific launched its inaugural Day of Giving, #PacificGives. This was an online challenge to make an incredible difference in the lives of our students.

The goal was to inspire Tigers everywhere to come together, demonstrate pride for Pacific, and provide essential funding to support Pacific students in Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco. To watch the tiger earn its stripes, we monitored our progress at pacific.edu/PacificGives.

The School of Engineering and Computer Science was proud to join in this extraordinary effort. Our funding priorities were:

  • Student Scholarships - Scholarships are critical for SOECS students. Scholarships recognize outstanding academics while decreasing college debt.
  • Tiger Tech Fund - The Tiger Tech Fund is a fund used to create student enrichment activities in addition to the wide variety of educational programming. This fund supports student design and competition projects, travel to student conferences, etc.

Together, we raised 589 gifts totaling $295,276! Thank you to everyone who donated to help support our current and future students.
