Bon Appetit Native Plant Garden
The Pacific Garden Program partners with Pacific's Grounds Department to tend the Bon Appetit Native Plant Garden, established on the Stockton campus in 2015.
The Bon Appetit Native Plant Garden was made possible by a generous donation from Fidele Bauccio, CEO and cofounder of Bon Appetit Management Company, and was constructed in 2015. Seventy varieties of California native plants were selected by Pacific faculty members in the Biological Sciences department, such as Stickey Monkey Flower, Coyote Brush, and several varieties of Manzanita. The garden is enhanced by several specimen boulders carefully selected by faculty of the Geological and Environmental Sciences department, such as Sierra Granite, Rhyolite, Basalt, Blueschist, Andesite, and the Flat Lava pictured at right.
