Reminder for Oct. 28 Sexual Harassment Prevention Training and alternate online training option

Oct 19, 2016

This is a reminder regarding completing Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. There are two ways to fulfill this requirement: completing the online version of the training (via Workplace Answers) or attending one of the Life Theater sessions on Oct. 28 at the Stockton campus. (Life Theater training sessions have already occurred in San Francisco and Sacramento.)

If you are enrolled in the Oct. 28 live training session, please plan to do the following to ensure that you receive credit for your attendance:

  • Bring your PacificCardTM so that you can swipe in rather than complete a manual registration process (providing name, signature, email, Pacific ID# 989 or 988). If you have misplaced or have lost your PacificCardTM, please contact the PacificCardTM team by email at or call 209.946.CARD (946.2273) to discuss your PacificCard TM replacement options.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your session start time.  We are expecting a large number of attendees and each person will need to check in. The sessions will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Please plan to arrive before the session starts to ensure that you receive credit for the entire session.

IMPORTANT: Sexual Harassment Prevention training is a minimum two-hour commitment. If you arrive late or need to leave the session early, you will not receive credit for attending. In these cases, we recommend that you complete the online training via Workplace Answers.

Still a few spaces left:  The 10 a.m. session is full, but there are seven spaces left in the 1 p.m. session. Click here to register

If you have not already visited Pacific's Sexual Harassment Prevention webpage or reviewed Pacific's Title IX Resources and Support page, we invite you to visit those pages for pre- and post-training resources as well as policy information and resources.
