New Summer Course Design Workshop (Tuesday, October 25): Are you thinking of offering a new summer course or redesigning a semester course for summer 2017? The CTL will be offering a series of fall workshops to support the development of new summer courses. It's not too late to join! Contact Tara Buñag ( for more information. CTL, 11am-12pm

Creating Inclusive Classrooms: Culture Shock (Wednesday, October 26): Continued dialogue on creating inclusive classrooms to better accommodate international students and support success for all students. CTL, 4-5pm

Teaching & Learning Book Club (Thursday, October 27): The Teaching & Learning Book Club is reading "Teaching Community: A Pedagogy of Hope", by bell hooks. This conversation will focus on chapters 6-11 of the book. Contact Leslie Bayers ( if you are interested in joining our book club. CTL, 12-1pm

Quality Matters Self-Review Workshop (Thursday, October 27): Are you interested in using Quality Matters (QM) to improve your online or hybrid course or your Canvas materials?
