New Online Approval Process for Academic Programs

The Provost Office is excited to announce a new electronic program approval process created in SharePoint as part of the Academic Program Proposal Site. This site will be your "one stop shop" to guide you through the program proposal and approval process. This fall, we will pilot the electronic process for new program proposals. The electronic approval process has been designed to provide the following benefits:

  • Up-to-Date templates and instructions
  • Automated emails to prompt document review & approval
  • Electronic approval and automatic advancement to the next approver
  • Ability to see current status at each stage in the proposal approval process
  • Document Archive

When you begin to think about offering a new program or revising an existing program, we can assist you through each step of the process.

  • Mapping out timelines for new and revised programs
  • Requesting a market study for a new program
  • Providing overall guidance to navigate the proposal development and approval process
  • Notifying key stakeholders involved in implementing new programs and program revisions
