Barbara Williams received her Bachelor of Music, major in music, minor in English, from University of Pacific; and her Master in Education from University of LaVerne, emphasis on advanced teaching techniques; she has Orff Level III certification from Mills College, 1995.

Barbara had taught as a music specialist (band, chorus, strings, genera classroom) in grades K-6 , from 1972-2005. She was Trainer for Total Literacy from 2007 to 2009. Barbara was past president of American River Orff Schulwerk Association and has presented at local, state, and national conferences. 

Barbara Williams teaches MEDU100 at University of Pacific, 1999-present.
