PHILIOSOPHY
Learning does not occur in a vacuum; it occurs within the context of a relationship. Just as relationships with teachers are an essential part of the classroom experience for all children, so too do I believe that the relationships I create with my students at Pacific are an essential part of their growth and development as professionals. Furthermore, I see each relationship as extending in time beyond the student-professor relationship here at Pacific to a lifelong professional relationship that is mutually beneficial and rewarding.

• Linda Webster, Benerd School of Education, had her paper "Use of the Adult Attachment Picture Projective System in an assessment of an adolescent in foster care" published in the Journal of Personality Assessment. Her co-author is David Joubert of University of Ottawa.
