Pacific Remembers Ali
As tributes pour in for Muhammad Ali, College of the Pacific alumna Karen Komsak Davis '83 recalls the time Ali visited University of the Pacific in July 1982 for a fundraising boxing match. As the sports editor of the Pacifican at the time, Davis had the opportunity to write about Ali and even have dinner with him. "I found Ali to be very kind and genuine," she says. A legendary figure who will be missed.
