Discover Bioengineering
The Bioengineering Program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org. This program includes up to 7 months of paid internship. Each student has a dedicated faculty advisor to assist in developing a personalized curriculum plan based on interests and skills. Student's plans can include undergraduate research, minors, and international opportunities.
The world of biotechnology has expanded immensely over the past decade, and it continues to grow at a rapid pace, creating many new opportunities for engineers who have knowledge of the biological sciences including anatomy, organic chemistry, and genetics. Many challenging opportunities also exist in areas such as tissue engineering, gene therapy, medical imaging and informatics, to name a few. Clearly, as a bioengineer you can have an immediate impact upon the quality of life.

CO-OP Program
As part of the Bioengineering Program, students complete a seven month, paid cooperative education experience working in industry. Bioengineering students work with companies such as Kaiser Permanente, American Dental Association, Pacific Biolabs, and CooperVision to name a few. Check out the list of recent co-op employers.
