Jennie Blomster, Lecturer in horn, joined the faculty of the Conservatory of Music in 2005. She holds the Bachelor of Music degree from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver and a Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in historic horn performance from California State University, Fresno. Her teachers include Thomas Hiebert, David Krehbiel, David Kappy, John Keene, and David Kaslow.
Ms. Blomster currently performs regularly with the Merced Symphony Orchestra, Moment Musical Chamber Ensemble, Winds of the San Joaquin, Fresno Brass Quintet, Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra, Fresno Grand Opera, and Stockton Opera. She has also held teaching positions at Fresno Pacific University and California State University, Stanislaus.
In the Conservatory of Music, Ms. Blomster teaches horn and chamber music, and performs with the Pacific Arts Woodwind Quintet.
