Description: Since the vast majority of the world's people are religious, one needs to know something about religions to understand people. One needs to be religiously literate. "Religious Literacy for Professionals" provides a foundation for developing religious literacy. After discussing why religious literacy is important and how Americans have lost sight of this, we will learn some basic facts about world religions, religious terminology, and some important religious figures.
