COACHE Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey

The University of the Pacific is once again partnering with the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) at the Harvard Graduate School of Education to administer a follow up to the Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey conducted in Spring 2015.  The current survey launched the week of February 7, 2020 and will continue through April 7, 2020. Faculty will receive an email directly from COACHE containing an individualized link to the Faculty Job Satisfaction survey. The survey is organized into the following themes:

  • Nature of Work: Research, Teaching, and Service
  • Resources and Support
  • Interdisciplinary Work, Collaboration, and Mentoring
  • Tenure and Promotion
  • Institutional Leadership
  • Shared Governance
  • Department Engagement, Quality, and Collegiality
  • Appreciation and Recognition
  • Retention and Negotiation
