Help remind students: Oct. 15 deadline to comply with university immunization policy

Sep 23, 2015

Pacific Health Services requests faculty and staff assistance in reminding students of the upcoming deadline for complying with the university immunization policy.

Please announce in all of your classes that undergraduate and graduate students must complete the immunization requirements by October 15, 2015. For students in certain programs, failure to comply by the deadline will result in a penalty fee of $50. All students who do not meet the deadline will be subject to a hold that would prevent them from registering, adding or dropping courses, obtaining transcripts, etc.

Students may go to MyHealth@Pacific to check their records and view secure messages to make sure they have completed all of the requirements. Turning in an immunization record does not necessarily mean that all requirements have been satisfied.

Pacific Health Services would greatly appreciate your help in disseminating this information in as many ways as you can.

This policy is in place to protect the Pacific community from outbreaks of infectious diseases, to meet the requirements of some academic programs and to ensure Pacific is meeting the gold standard of care set forth by the CDC, the State of California and other health organizations.

For complete information and FAQ, students should visit the immunization compliance page on the student health services website at
