How Can We Help You?
For Pacific faculty and senior administrators, we can help identify and approach potential funding sources, plan and coordinate solicitations, assist in inquiries and grant proposals, gather supporting materials, help with campus visits, and obtain institutional signatures. Other services provided by our office include:
Serving Internal & External Constituents:
- We seek to build relationships which will be mutually beneficial for both the external partners as well as the greater University.
- External relationships are typically either a private foundation or a corporate/business entity.
- While much of our efforts are focused on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding philanthropic gifts, we also understand that our success significantly hinges on the other aspects of the relationship.
Maintaining/Developing New Corporate & Foundation Relationships:
- Assisting with the talent recruitment of Pacific students
- Facilitating the professional development of Corporate/Foundation employees
- For foundation relationships, it is the University's ability to steward their investments for the impact which aligns with their mission or funding interests including, but not limited to:
- Student or faculty scholarship in a particular subject matter
- Impacting a specific cause/demographic
- Direct services through various types of University outreach which addresses a need or impacts a specific cause/demographic.
Proposal Development:
- CFR will take the lead on proposal development wherein the following exists:
- The relationship is multifaceted as suggested above
- There is no existing legacy with the University or established contacts with faculty
- Where faculty has existing relationship, but prefers CFR's management.
- CFR will serve as an editor providing proofing, advice regarding dollar amount of ask, and budget projections.
- As necessary, CFR will provide specific areas of project advising and other various types of project related assistance.
