With corporate sponsorship from Bank of America, University of the Pacific is able to offer enriching programs and support through Beyond our Gates the Tomorrow Project Academies improving our community and helping children today become strong and engaged citizens tomorrow.

Reach for the Stars with BoA University of the Pacific's School of Engineering, Computer Science and Benerd School of Education once again partnered with Stockton Unified School District to offer the programming the PREPUSA/Reach for the Stars Academy, a course that prepares promising students with the solid foundation they need in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). PREPUSA/Reach for the Stars helps students, especially girls and underrepresented minorities, to stop the backslide in education that can happen over the summer break and develop the tools they will need to succeed in high school and beyond.

"Reach for the Stars is a critical program for the Stockton area due to the ties to STEM curriculum and college preparation," said Mark Riley, market president for Fresno and Central Valley at Bank of America. "Bank of America is proud to support programs like this that help prepare students and their families for higher education, more stable financial lives and ultimately more economically prosperous communities."  Reach for the Stars 2014
