Welcome to the College of the Pacific, the oldest and largest academic unit of University of the Pacific. Value of a liberal arts education

Is a liberal arts education (an education in the arts, social sciences or natural sciences) still a good value? A new study by Georgetown University shows that a liberal arts education does pay off over the course of your career.

A liberal arts education develops critical thinking, writing skills, the ability to think across disciplines and offers technical classwork and the internship experiences for students — all things employers look for.
