Academic Plan Update

Over the past 6 months a coordinated effort of faculty, staff, administration and students has helped to define and shape our new Academic Plan. The final iteration of the Academic Plan, which will be available publicly soon, was recently approved by Academic Council and presented to the Board of Regents at their April meeting in San Francisco, where both Academic Council representatives and many Regents commented not only on the quality of the final product, but praised the inclusive process by which it was developed.
Now that this step in the process is complete, work will begin over summer and fall to create a comprehensive implementation plan, prioritize stated initiatives and to develop metrics for ongoing assessment of progress.
