Robert P. Berryman, Jr. '83, Chair
Principal Real Estate Analyst, University of California, San Francisco
Bob Berryman has a long history of volunteering for Pacific and is currently the Chair of the College of the Pacific Leadership Council. Having been elected to the Pacific Alumni Association Board of Directors after he graduated in 1983, Bob served on the board for eighteen years, including one term as president. He recently represented alumni on the search committee for the new Dean of the College, was the founding Chair of the Pacific Fund Advisory Board and was an active participant on the university's National Commission on the Next Level of Excellence in 2000. Bob's interdisciplinary degree in Social Policy and Urban Affairs has served him well during his nearly thirty years of work in multi-residential, commercial and institutional real estate.
His is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, Chair of the Investment Committee of the G. W. Williams Co. Board of Directors and a trustee of the G. W. Williams Foundation. Currently, Bob is a Principal Real Estate Analyst with the University of California, San Francisco, where he negotiates real estate transactions and contracts on behalf of The Regents of the University of California. He lives in San Mateo with his wife Anna and four children.
Rob Barber, '94
Managing Director, Accenture
Rob Barber received his degree in Mathematics from Pacific in 1994, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was named as the 1994 Outstanding Graduating Senior in Mathematics. He was also a catcher on Pacific's baseball team, earning Pacific's nomination for male Big West Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1993, played two years on the Canadian National Baseball Team and was drafted twice by the Toronto Blue Jays.
Rob currently works for Accenture, a Fortune 500 global management and technology consulting company, where he started as an analyst hired directly from UOP's campus and is now a Managing Director. His current responsibilities at Accenture include oversight of technology sales and delivery at one of Accenture's largest clients in Accenture's Communications, Media and Technology operating unit. Rob has significant experience with CRM, Billing, Workforce Transformation and Strategic Sourcing initiatives across the globe. Rob resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Patti Jo, and his daughter, Taylor. He spends his spare time boating, golfing and hunting.
Dr. John C. Beyer, '62
Chairman of the Board, Nathan Associates
Dr. Beyer, president of Nathan Associates from 1978-2008 and now Chairman of the Board, is a highly skilled expert witness. In 1998 he testified for Litton Industries in its antitrust case against Honeywell, helping Litton win one of the largest antitrust judgments of that year. He co-authored Forced Labor Under the Third Reich, a damage assessment used in negotiations between lawyers representing survivors of forced labor and representatives of German corporations. More recently, he has studied the U.S. grain markets and the import of genetically modified seeds in these markets. Dr. Beyer is currently analyzing anticompetitive behavior among major U.S. air carriers. He has performed economic analyses and business valuations in many litigation matters, particularly those related to antitrust. Well known for succinct and persuasive definitions of relevant markets, assessments of anticompetitive conduct and damage analyses, he has testified in federal, state and tax courts. Also an adjunct professor of economics at the American University in Washington, D.C., Dr. Beyer is researching international trade and emerging market economies. He has worked for the Ford Foundation and was a guest scholar at the Brookings Institution.
Dr. Jeb Burton, '98

Jeb Burton received his Juris Doctorate (Doctorate of Law) from King Hall at the University of California, Davis. He accomplished his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of the Pacific in Stockton and is admitted to practice law in the State of California. Jeb is an active member of the State Bar of California in various sections, including Business Law, Taxation, Real Property Law, and Trusts and Estates. Jeb serves as a member of the American Bar Association and various ABA divisions. He is also a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and a variety of sections within that organization as well as serving as past Chair of the Tax Section. Jeb is involved in a number of other organizations dealing with Estate, Tax and Business Law, including Member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council (SEPC), as well as serving as Technical Forum Chair for the SEPC; Wealth Counsel, where he serves as the Northern California Forum Leader; Vistage; and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Jeb's legal career is focused in the areas of Estate Planning, Tax and Business Law. He is specifically knowledgeable and experienced in the areas of Advanced Estate and Tax (both domestic and international) Planning, Entity Structure and Governance, Exit Planning, Asset Protection, Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as Business Succession, or Legacy Planning. Jeb enthusiastically volunteers his time to non-profit groups and local government. He is the Chair of and First District Commissioner for the Yolo County Planning Commission and serves on the Board of Directors for the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Sutter Health Heritage Advisors Board. Jeb is a member of the West Sacramento Rotary and member of Rotary International, to which he dedicates himself to various sanctioned community service organizations. Jeb and the Burton Law Firm are also members of the Metro (Sacramento) Chamber of Commerce, the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce.
On a personal note, Jeb is happily married, a proud father of two and lives in West Sacramento. He is a down-hill skier in the winter and a cyclist in the summer but also an avid (borderline obsessive) collector of fine wines. He is also a member and active participant of the Fremont Church of the City of Sacramento.
Alan Clack '81
Senior Vice President of Western Regional Sales, CBS
Alan Clack is a New York City-based television industry veteran who has enjoyed a 28-year career with CBS, currently serving as Senior Vice President, Western Region Sales for the CBS Television Stations group. He has been based in New York City since 1994 when he joined the network's flagship station, WCBS-TV, where he then became Vice President of Sales in 2005. Alan began his CBS career as an account executive for KPIX-TV in San Francisco. He is a native of Hayward, Calif.
Justin Gingery '96, '99

Justin Gingery received his law degree from McGeorge Law School in 1999 and from University of the Pacific in 1996 with a degree in Political Science and Dramatic Arts.
Mr. Gingery has been featured as the cover story in Sacramento News & Review. A case he litigated settled for seven figures and was the largest settlement in the nation at the time for a case of that kind. Justin Gingery has practiced law in California since 1999. He specializes in Tort Law. Justin is a member of the Capitol City Trial lawyers Association; Consumer Attorneys of California; State Bar of California; United States District Court, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. Justin enjoys sports, theatre and art. Justin resides in Elk Grove, CA with his wife Louisa and their daughter Gemma Grace and their son James Atticus.
Dr. John Red Horse '62
Former Dean Liberal Arts & Co-Principal Investigator of Indian Child Welfare Certificate Program, University of Minnesota Duluth
John Red Horse is the Co-Principal investigator of an Indian Child Welfare Certificate Program to design graduate and undergraduate-level credit-bearing training curricula, which is funded by the Bush Foundation. His research has focused on many aspects of Indian life, including social and legal perspectives on Indian child welfare, American Indian family development, bilingualism, Indian children's health, and mental health and family preservation. John's tribal affiliation is Cherokee. John holds an A.B. from University of Pacific, an M.S.W. from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Ph. D. from the University of Minnesota.
