The following University of the Pacific faculty members are available to comment on topics related to the protests in Hong Kong:

Chinese media, Chinese political process
Qingwen Dong, professor of communication and chairman of the Department of Communication at University of the Pacific, is a former Radio Beijing journalist. He can comment on media in China, how media is covering the protests in Hong Kong, China's reaction to the protests and the general political climate in China. Modern Chinese history
Greg Rohlf, associate professor and chair of history at University of the Pacific, was a visiting researcher at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has written extensively on China and its borderlands, especially Tibetan areas. He has also written on post-Cold War volunteer programs in China and the modernization they fostered. Daniel O'Neill, an assistant professor of political science at University of the Pacific, can comment on the political and economic climate in China and the region.
