United Way campaign final tally tops $115,000

Dec 15, 2014

Including additional pledge forms trickling in over last week, the Stockton campus 2015 United Way campaign closed in record time on Dec. 12 at $115,667.69 with more than 35% participation. Eleven of the participating units achieved participation of 50% or more with three units achieving 100% participation.

"I am thrilled with the outcome of this year's United Way campaign," said President Pam Eibeck. "Together we have helped our community's nonprofits get the resources they desperately need to help the underserved. We've also sent a message that Pacificans care about the people of this region."

"Congratulations to all who participated this year and especially to Steve Whyte, chair of the campaign and University Events Manager, his team, and all the coordinators who put forth an extraordinary effort."

A pizza party will be scheduled sometime after the New Year for all participants to celebrate the successful campaign. Watch for an announcement in the Insider.

"Thank you! United Way of San Joaquin County and our community are so blessed to have your participation in our United Way Employee Giving at the Workplace annual fundraising campaign," said Andy Prokop, president/CEO of United Way of San Joaquin County. "I am positive this is our greatest year ever. Thanks again for helping to make the 2014-2015 Campaign a huge success."
