Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some frequently asked questions regarding our new San Francisco summer programs. If your question is not addressed in this section, please contact Ashley Bonda, administrative assistant, for further information. 

What will be the cost to participate in this program?

  • Each of the San Francisco summer programs totals four units (three academic units and a one-unit internship). Those units will cost the same as other academic summer session courses. For more information, please visit the Center for Professional and Continuing Education.

How many spaces are available in each course?

  • Both "Arts and the City" and "Technology and the City" have room for 20 participants each.

What housing facilities will be available to students who don't live in the Bay Area?

  • Pacific will not be offering housing for the 2015 San Francisco Summer Experience. Students will be responsible for securing their own housing.

What are the program dates?

  • The San Francisco Summer Experience will be offered during the first Summer Session, May 11 through June 12, 2015.

What internships will be offered?

  • Program facilitators are working with Bay Area alumni, arts organizations and  tech companies to develop optional internships that will provide rich opportunities for students to explore career options and expand their studies. More information about those opportunities will be available in the spring semester.
