Physical Plant scales back Dec. 30 power outage on Stockton campus

Physical Plant is canceling a portion of the Dec. 30 power outage for the Stockton campus, but will still carry out two smaller outages that day to allow for scheduled work to be completed.

An outage scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. Dec. 30, with power forecast to be restored by 8 a.m., will affect these facilities: Aquatics Center, Jeannette Powell Art Center, Geoscience, Biology Lab, Biological Sciences, Ceramics lab, Chemistry, Classroom Building, Klein Family Field, Long Theatre, Pacific Intercollegiate Athletic Center, School of Education, Pacific Resources Research Center, South Campus Engineering Lab, Olson Hall, Drama, Psychology, Communication, Computer Science, South Campus Gym, Dance Studio, Janssen-Lagorio Gymnasium, A.G. Spanos Center, Kjeldsen Pool, Simoni Softball Field, Knoles Field, Soccer Field, Field Hockey.

The second power outage scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Dec. 30, with power forecast to be restored by 2:30 p.m., will affect these facilities: Bannister Hall, Baun Fitness Center, Buck Hall, Faye Spanos Concert Hall, Knoles Hall, Library, Rehearsal/Recital Hall.

Dec. 30 is a seasonal day so no classes or offices hours are scheduled.
