United Way campaign tops $96,500 with a month left to go

Nov 17, 2014

As of Friday, Nov. 14, the 2015 United Way campaign tallied $96,531 in donations and pledges. Thanks to all who stepped up in the past week, we are well on our way to meeting our campaign goal. But it's not over yet. Our goal this year is  to achieve a total in donations and pledges of $110,000

In addition, our overall participation rate is only at 21%, and our goal is 35%. The good news is that there are still a lot of us left to help put us over the top in both participation and dollars raised. Cheers to the Office of Marketing and Communications, and the Office of the President for achieving 100% participation; CPCE for achieving 92% participation; and to the Benerd School of Education, Business and Finance, Development, External Relations and Institutional Research who all achieved 40% participation or greater.

We have only a few more weeks to close the gap on our goals. The need for support in our community continues to be immense and every contribution makes a difference.

Remember, your donation or pledge can be in any amount and any 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization can be designated. If you already donate to a favorite charity, please consider making your donation through the United Way Campus Campaign. Donations can be made as a one-time gift or through a monthly pledge.

And don't forget: Once we reach our goal, we will have a pizza party for all those who participated in this year's campaign!

Take a few minutes right now to complete your pledge form and place it in the confidential United Way envelope included in your packet.

Help us continue to demonstrate to our community that Pacific knows the importance of giving.
