Employee Alert: Phishing email targeting payroll information

University Payroll and Human Resources has been alerted to a payroll theft scheme that is targeting university employees. So far there are no reports of anyone at University of the Pacific being targeted, but employees should be aware of the threat.

This "phishing" e-mail attack is targeting direct deposit and payroll information.  The phishing email addresses may appear to be from Human Resources and may include the University logo.
