The Second World War: Operation Europe
As the Axis Powers swept through Europe, obliterating all opposition before them, the Allies were locked in a desperate struggle for survival. Through a series of films, lectures, and eyewitness accounts this course will take you on a journey through the battlefields of Europe and across the North African desert. You will meet important historical figures, such as Winston Churchill and Erwin Rommel, and you will learn of the experiences of the men and women who fought with dogged determination to preserve their freedom.
