University of the Pacific is partnering with community business and nonprofit leaders to plan a new Community Aquatics Center on the waterfront in downtown Stockton. The facility will be designed to host sweep/sculling, crew, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding for both recreational and competitive programs from the community. There will also be meeting space for nonprofit organizations as well as special events like banquets and receptions.
The Pacific Community Aquatics Center will help to revitalize downtown Stockton by adding to the list of amenities already located near the waterfront.
