Arlene Cash Leaving Pacific in June

May 12, 2014

Arlene Cash will step down as Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, effective May 31.  She has been at Pacific since December 2013. A native of New England, Cash decided to return to Georgia to be closer to her family.

"I have an opportunity to show the people who matter most in my life that they are the priority," said Cash. "The faculty and staff have been incredibly supportive and I can't thank my enrollment staff enough for their patience and understanding as I have worked to manage both personal and professional challenges. It has been an honor to experience the leadership of President Eibeck, to serve on her cabinet and work so closely with Dr. Pallavicini. The greatest honor, though, has been to touch the lives of so many students during my short period here."

Pallavicini said, "In a short time, Cash has brought new ideas and best practices to the Enrollment Management unit." Pacific is on track to exceed its target freshman enrollment of more than 860 incoming undergraduates this fall.

The Office of the Provost will appoint an interim head of enrollment management early this summer. A national search for a new Vice Provost for Enrollment Management will be announced in the coming weeks.

There will be a farewell reception for Cash at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, in the Knoles Hall lobby.
