Goethals Resigns from Men's Golf Position

Golf Coach Brandon GoethalsVice President Ted Leland announced on March 5, that Men's Golf Head Coach Brandon Goethals has resigned his position at the university to take a job with the PGA Tour. Goethals resignation will take effect on Mar. 10. Assistant Coach AJ Hohn will act as the interim head coach and a national search for a new men's golf coach will begin at the conclusion of the season.

"We are thankful for the time that Brandon has spent here at Pacific," said Leland. "He has done a great job with our student-athletes, leading them on the course and in the classroom. This is a great opportunity for him and we wish him the best."

Goethals spent eight full seasons at the helm of the Tigers' golf program, leading Pacific back to the top of the Big West Conference.
