The Ted and Chris Robb Garden
on Feb 20, 2014From soil to crop, the Robb Garden covers it all. Students and professors put their hard work into the earth and get rewarded with a seemingly endless deluge of produce. Whether its spring, summer, winter, or fall there is always something going on in the garden. A true farm-to-fork enterprise, the garden was established in 2012 through a generous gift from Whole Foods co-CEO Walter Robb in honor of his sons Ted '02 and Chris '06 Robb. Since then it has provided produce for campus dining and charitable organizations and served as a student learning lab and community garden. In 2015, with an additional gift from Robb and the campus dining services provider, Bon Appetit Management Company, the garden was further expanded to include the Abigail Robb Plaza and the Bon Appetit Native Garden.
