Jan 31, 2014

The Pacific McGeorge Master of Science in Law (MSL) degree program, which launched in August 2013, is enrolling now for August 2014. In addition, through a new "early start" program, qualified applicants may enroll to begin in the May 2014 summer session.

Want to Know More?
Those interested in learning more about the program and how to earn a part-time MSL degree in less than two years, or want to explore a JD degree delivered either full- or part-time, are encouraged to attend an upcoming information session.

Dates: Feb. 11, Feb. 26 or Mar. 11
Time: 5 to 6 p.m.
Place: Hyatt Sacramento, 1209 L Street

The Master of Science in Law degree is designed for professionals working in highly regulated industries — such as human resources, health, the environment, public policy or accounting — who want a quality, part-time legal education but do not require a J.D. degree for their career plans. The first MSL cohort of 11 students started in August 2013.

What are they saying?
"I had always considered going to law school, however there were parts of law school that I wouldn't utilize in my career as a lobbyist. Having a better understanding of the law is a great asset to have."
— Erin Norwood, First-Year M.S.L. student

"The amount I've learned already has already made me better in the workplace and has benefited my clients and my boss, and they recognize that and I've actually already taken on more responsibilities because of this program."
— John Wenger, First-Year M.S.L. student
