United Way Update - January 21, 2014

Jan 17, 2014

We are excited to report we are getting closer each week to achieving our United Way campaign goal. As of Jan. 17, the total pledged is $112,922.61,  putting us at 94%, and total participation is just shy of 30%. With our extended deadline to February 14, we are within reach of reaching and even surpassing our goal with just a little more effort.

Collectively, our participation—our gifts to United Way—are an investment in our personal and professional future. Each gift, no matter what the size, makes a difference in the success of community organizations who work so hard to improve lives for those in San Joaquin County—to help the disadvantaged and disabled, stop domestic violence, reduce crime, increase literacy, reduce high school drop-out rates, and much more. As they succeed in improving our community, we have a better place to live and work, and our students have a wonderful place to live while attending this outstanding university.

Just as we at Pacific are dependent upon and grateful for the financial gifts from our donors that help us realize our mission, so is United Way. United Way is helping countless organizations realize their mission of helping others and helping our community. If you have not already done so, take time to complete your pledge form and share in this mutually beneficial partnership with United Way.

If you need a pledge form, please contact your campaign coordinator or email Lorena Quilenderino at for a new form.

Contact myself or your United Way Campaign Coordinator with any questions.

Let's make this happen!
