OIT advisory regarding slow email processing

Jan 13, 2014

Some Pacific email messages have been slow to reach their destinations in recent days due to issues involving two offshore Microsoft data centers. OIT has taken steps to address the issue in the short term, while Microsoft works on a permanent solution.

Pacific emails sent between Wednesday and Saturday night may have been delayed, but all of these messages should have been delivered to their intended recipients by now. Email is once again functioning normally.
